My Grooming Services
Tails in the Vale is my one2one, home-based grooming service in an idyllic rural location. I offer a comfortable and fun grooming experience for any breed. Grooms are a personalised stress-free experience for your best friend. Every dog is different, grooms are suited to your dog, and then it’s just them and me. Drop offs and collections to my Groom Room, are welcome, or I can provide a door-to-door service to you. GPS Tracking is a part of every walk, ensuring the safety of every dog. My opening times are a guide – appointments can be, made to suit, around your schedule.

Prices below are a guide only. Prices will vary between short and long haired dogs, prices may be higher due to matted coats.

I understand that emergencies happen and appointments may need to be cancelled. As a small business, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Please also ensure you arrive on time for your appointment, as I work on a tight schedule. If you are 15 minutes late, I may not have enough time to groom your dog, which could result in a cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Puppy Groom
The perfect opportunity to introduce your puppy to the groomers is as soon as they are vaccinated, slowly introducing them to the equipment and the groomer is essential to building their confidence and a bond. My ultimate grooming package..The Full Groom! Your beloved companion will be treated to 2 x baths ensuring a silky-smooth coat. I then move onto a thorough brushing, leaving them feeling rejuvenated. I'll clean their ears and tears, and trim their nails to perfection. You can choose a stylish cut that matches breed standards or go for a personalised look you had in mind. To top it all off, your pup will leave with a delightful, (optional) scented perfume, making them not only look great but smell fantastic too!

Bath & Brush Out
Perfect for in between grooms to keep your dogs coat healthy and clean! I will work my magic with 2 x baths and a thorough brushing, leaving your dog's fur looking impeccable and feeling incredibly soft. Ears and tears will be tenderly attended to, ensuring a fresh and comfortable experience. With a gentle blow-dry, your pup will leave feeling light and airy.

Handstripping
This package is perfect for breeds with a wire coat. No clippers are used. The old coat is removed and plucked away by hand, allowing a new layer of coat to come through.
